The green mountains, the imposing cliffs and the clear tone of the seawater make this viewpoint known for the outstanding beauty of its surroundings.
We arrive In Santana. It’s known for its Casas Típicas de Santana, traditional stone houses with steep, triangular-shaped thatched roofs. As we continue our way back to Funchal, and only if we have enough time, we can continue to the Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto view point, in Ponta de São Lourenço, which is at the eastern end of the island. From this point, it is possible to glimpse both the north and the south coast of the island of Madeira, and it is home to one of the largest colonies of seagulls in the region. This viewpoint is famous for its panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

A Lot of the stops are time permitting. Many people re-book this tour as there is so much to experience, and unfortunately can not be seen and experienced all at once. This tour is completely customisable and is not set in stone. This may be discussed upon booking.
Due to weather conditions, the road to Pico do Arieiro may occasionally be closed. In this case, we will do an alternative to this stop point.
