Sunrise at Pico do Arieiro
We Pick you up and drop you off from your hotel within Funchal. Pick up at your hotel is at around 5:30 AM.
We drive through the forest admiring some views of the endemic trees from the Laurissilva forest, along our unforgettable adventure to explore Pico do Arieiro, the third highest mountain of Madeira, at 1818m high. An absolute must experience.
Standing on top of this mountain means beautiful vistas in all directions. Here, nothing can be more pleasant to the senses than the sunrise (Golden Hour). At this time, nature is at its best.The golden rays of the sun give a bright colour to the clouds, mountains and valleys, provided it’s a clear morning.
Being one of the highest points It also offers a privileged view of the imposing Madeiran mountain massif.
The total time of our Sunrise Tour is about 3 hours.
